Yes, in both ways that the question can be understood.
There are people who reject the claims that any god or gods exist. These people are called Atheists.
There are also a number of very different Gods/gods that people believe in. There are differences between pantheons and even between monotheistic claims about the nature of their single God. Within any particular monotheistic faith, there are also a vast number of differences. Some people believe in a Personal God who hears prayer and chooses victors/losers in war. Some people believe in a Deistic God who created the universe and then plays no further role in the Universe. Some people believe in an "energy" or "spiritual" God who is a personified aspect of nature. Some people believe in a Pantheistic God or simply a reference to the universe itself. Necessarily, everyone believes that one or more of these gods does not exist.
A recent survey found that 63 per cent of the world's population is religious and therefore believe in at least one god, although many of these belong to non-Abrahamic religions and would deny that God exists or have no opinion either way.
The same survey found that 22 per cent described themselves as not religious and a further 11 per cent said they were convinced atheists. Therefore 33 per cent of the world's population either believes that no god exists or is uncertain. Not all who believe God (or any god) does not exist would chose to describe themselves as 'convinced atheists'.
We can answer the question by saying that many people believe God does not exist.
Yes, many think that.
Many others think that he does.
People that believe in god are people that don't believe a god does not exist. A convoluted question. The asker possibly means the exact opposite of the query. With the question containing a double-negative.... the answer is: a theist (or deist).
I am not sure if God exist or not. I think people only say they do believe in God is because they feel the need to put faith in something or someone. I will only know that he exists when i die.
They feel that God has abandoned them. They think he isn't real because they think, "If he was real, why would he let problems happen to us?".
If you choose to believe in a god, they exist because he wanted them to exactly as they are. He doesn't allow them to exist, he wants them to exist.
easy, people, do you actually think that god wrote the bible, in our language. god doesn't exist, religion is a curse on this planet, trust me, people have died because of it. I figuared this out and I a 13 year old who just ended a quarter in school with a 34% in science
Yes people think they exist, but they don't they are just a myth
People are often drawn to religion for a sense of community, purpose, comfort, and hope. Faith provides a framework for understanding the world and coping with life's challenges, even in the absence of concrete evidence. Additionally, spiritual experiences and personal beliefs can be deeply meaningful to individuals, influencing their belief in a higher power.
God doesn't discriminate against Gay people, but a lot of God's followers do.
No. The ones that believe in Him believe that He is God. The ones that don't think He was a hypocrit, fraud, or did not exist.
Theists think no, God has a hand in every little thing that the universe does. Deists think yes. Atheists think no, God doesn't exist.
