No, pest repellers do not work beyond a narrowly defined target area but yes, they do work within their identified range. They nevertheless will be particularly effective in conjunction with row covers and sticky traps.

Some may work short term but how long depends on the pest. They are more effective for mammals than insects, but not for long. That is why pest companies don't use them. If they worked, they would sell them to you-trust me.

My experience with electronic pest repellents is that they do work. I have used them to keep possums and rabbits out of vegetable patches, birds and also kangaroos out of orchards. They hear 125-2k Hz. In comparison- a human hears 64-23,000 Hz, so it shouldn't. Before you buy one though, they have been tested by experts and don't appear to have long term benefits for any pest type(s).

Yes they do - I have one myself. I'll tell you how they work. Mice, insects and other critters have extremely sensitive hearing and can hear sounds beyond 20,000 Hertz. Ultrasonic Pest Repellers exploit this biological characteristic and use this against the pests. This drives the pests crazy and they leave your home, or whatever place you want them to leave.
Does electromagnetic pest control really work?
I can answer this easily with a resounding NO!!!! I had an aunt that invested in this type of pest control for fleas and mice and it simply did not work.
