Do Pit Bulls have enemies?

Yes they do. And it's name is the BSL (Breed Specific Legislation). The BSL tries to pass unfair laws that ban pit bulls from certain areas. This is wrong. Yes, some pit bulls were never trained or socialized. Some were shown only cruelty. These dogs may bite because of human neglact and cruelty, but think of the millions of pit bulls who are just loyal happy-go-lucky dogs who want nothing more than to be loved by a family of their own.

What is a pit bull adaptations?

Pit Bulls have an amazing (and disturbing) ability that no other dog has, making it a very dangerous dog. It has the ability of when it attacks something, and it gets its jaw around whatever its attacking's neck, its skull is uniquely formed to clamp down uncontrollably, and even if the pit bull wanted to, it could not let go. That adaptation makes it almost impossible for anything to be unharmed once the pit bulls jaw clamps down. These are one of the adaptations that gives pit bulls a bad name, and what makes this dog very dangerous.

What makes a pitbull's bite worse than most dog bites?

Original answer: "what makes there bites worse is because they have really strong jaws and they tend to lock on to whatever there biting and they cant let go sometimes" Better answer: Pit bulls DO NOT have a locking mechanism in their jaw structure. This is a physical/anatomical impossibility. Pit bulls have been bred for their "tenacity", which means being tough, tireless, or unwilling to give up easily. Remember that pit bulls are terriers. All terriers, regardless of shape or size, are known and bred for their fearlessness.
