First of all, it depends entirely on what you mean by "religions".
There are numerous religious people that accept the idea that there are those people who do not believe in the various gods postulated by religions. There are far larger numbers of religious people, often who come from theocratic or strongly conservative societies, that reject Atheism as an acceptable profession of belief/non-belief. (Often, however, these individuals also reject the acceptability of religions other than their own as well.)
If we are talking about "religions" as the codified doctrines of various religious faiths, then there are certain religions which are themselves non-theistic, like certain variants of Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism. There are also religions that accept the right for people to disbelieve while themselves being majority-theistic, such as Hinduism. However, all of the Abrahamic Faiths, except for some versions of Protestant Christianity (like Unitarian Universalists) are opposed to Atheism and condemn Atheists to Divine Punishment for their disbelief. (The nature of that punishment depends on the religion and sect in question, but it is most often hellfire.)
A religion that admits that a group that is convinced that the god of that religion does not exist would have problems defending its own existence - so no, religions do not accept Atheism.
No. They fear it.

As Richard Leakey has pointed out, all religions have a beginning, so before religions there would have been atheism. The first people to actually call themselves "atheist" were in the 18th century - the age of enlightenment with Jean Meslier being one of the first.
Everyone, everywhere should accept other religions, whether or not they do, I don't know. Buddhism may not accept other religions as a whole, but you should only think about it on a person to person basis.
Judaism and Atheism are two separate religious affliction's. You cannot have two religions at once.
The most different branches of religion on the chart are likely those that are least related in terms of their beliefs, practices, and origins. For example, religions like Buddhism and Islam may be considered as most different because they have different foundational principles, scriptures, and practices.
Atheism is not a "unifying" force nor is it intended to be. Atheism is not a religion nor a political system and there is no central organizing entity. Since atheism is not driven by any strict set of doctrines and atheists have no motive to take control over other people, force people to become atheists or rule the world, atheism is a relatively benign personal choice to not accept a belief in the supernatural.
None.Christians are persecuted in certain areas by people of many religions including Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, or Buddhism. However, this does not mean that all people of these religions behave in such a manner towards Christians and Christianity. For those who count it as a religion, Atheism is also inherently against Christianity.Simply yet intellegently put... Atheism, Satanism, and Islam are against Christianity.
