No sharks do not eat plankton they would rather scavenge or hunt and besides whales eat plankton and whoever posted this question thanx it was a good question

with out planton we wouldnt have whales techonly the whales would heave to move to sharks and or other things. Then we would run out of Sharks so the sharks would eat up as much fish and we would not have fish hardly
