Best Answer

Yes. While not as quickly as corn oil or olive oil, it will not last well longer than 6 months unopened. It will spoil even faster in the light (opaque containers are best) rather than in a dark pantry.

I'm sitting here eating salted shelled peanuts that have been expired for one year. They taste fine, but some of them are a little bitter.

Do peanuts grow in Texas?

Peanuts will grow in the midwest. Peanuts require sandy soil that is free of lumps. If your soil does not fit the above description, add some sharp sand to your garden. The raw peanuts you plant must be unroasted. Plant peanuts around May 15th. If you have thick-shelled peanuts, remove shell and plant 1 inch deep and 10 inches apart. Space your rows 30 inches. Thin-shelled peanuts can be planted with shell intact and planted the same way as the thick-shelled. Clean cultivation is a must while peanuts are growing. Keep weeds out of the growing area. Try not to disturb the root zone of your peanuts when pulling weeds. After a hard freeze has killed the peanut plant, pull or dig up entire plant, roots and all, and separate the new peanuts from the roots. Let dry on newspaper in garage or basement. When dry, roast, shell and enjoy!

Can pomeranians eat corn?

No, peanuts for any breed of dog is not OK. A little peanut butter (and I mean little) is fine to get a medication in pill form into your dog, but other than that peanuts are extremely hard to digest for dogs, and some shelled peanuts can have mold on them and cause allergies.
