Stress is pretty normal for a teenager, as you go through quite alot: puberty, love, etc.

As a teenager you go through quite alot of stress, it seems girls seem to get it a little bit more then boys, but boys get it to.

If you're stressed out about something try talking to a close friend or a parent or just somebody you trust.

There are many detrimental affects to teens under stress. Every teen deals with stress differently. I have known some to use food, whether over eating or restricting food. Some even turn to cutting and the use of drugs and sex to mask the pain of stress. Our job as parents is to stay plugged into what is going on with our teens, giving them positive ways and outlets to deal with the stresses life gives us all. The most important thing you can do for your teen is to listen, not being judgmental, and hear what is going on with them. Even telling them how difficult it was for you as a teen. This helps them see you too are human and have made mistakes and you are there to help them positively deal with their stresses.

It is scientifically proven that stress causes you to break out in pimples. In other words the more homework and tests you have (and other things that may stress you out), then the more pimples you will get. Completing homework early on and not leaving things to the last minute (very stressful) will ultimately lead to a less stressed lifestyle, and thus a less pimply face.
