What is the difference between the Old Apostolic Church and the New Apostolic Church?

Old Apostolic belive in the old ways such as no tv, music, competive based games or internet unless it is your income and to not be of the world. From personal experience they worship lestadias alot more than they should.I am an Old Apostolic member and the previous answer is INCORRECT.The Old Apostolic faith believes in the Emmanuel principal (God in man) and that they are part of the Body of Christ, Christ being in man as is said in the bible. We live normal lives, watch tv, play video games, we use the internet to even have Skype meetings.. everything is VERY normal, and we also make time for God. We believe in God, we try to live good lives by putting the Word of God first in our lives and by living by the word. We believe the bible to be Spiritual (that which is spiritual) and Natural (that which is historical). We have Apostles which lead us. All our Offices are voluntary meaning no person get's paid for being a member or Servant including the Apostles contrary to what people say. Our offices are chosen by God not by man. We believe in the Father Son and Holy Spirit, and that they are one. We have dreams which are descerned by the Gifts God has placed within our church, we have prophecies and visions (read Job33 and 1 Cor 14). We believe in Love and that God is the originator of love and therefor love another as God Commands, also working our faith in the spirit.I am not familiar with the New Apostolic church and humbly invite a member to elaborate on their beliefs. With Sincere Old Apostolic Greetings. The Old Apostolic Church was started in 1927 by a man called Carl Klibbe when he broke away from the New Apostolic Church.According to the official Witwatersrand court settlement papers (Court Case 432 of 1926) "...Carl George Klibbe did in the year 1915 sever all connection with and declared its independence from the New Apostolic Church, whose headquarters is in Germany which is subject to the jurisdiction of the Apostle College and Apostle Unity and under the leadership of Herman Niehaus of Quelle, Germany..."The Old Apostolic Church do not believe that Jesus will return, they believe that they (the OAC) are Christ and that the members of their church are Jesus. They believe God is the spoken word and that the Bible is a dead letter. They believe Heaven is a state of mind and that Heaven is within each of their members. The New Apostolic Church believe in the second coming of Jesus.

Are all Catholic Apostolic Churches Romans?

.Catholic AnswerTwo problems, but the answer is a simple no to both of them. The Catholic Church, whose headquarters is in the Vatican, which is in Rome is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, as enumerated in the Nicene Creed. However, there is a "Catholic Apostolic Churches" which is a protestant sect started by an Anglican which has nothing to do with the Catholic Church. In the first case, the Catholic Church, headquartered in Rome, the answer is NO, they are not "Roman." In the second case, of the protestants using that name, they aren't Roman either.

Do Anglicans believe in the second coming of christ?

Yes they do.

What did Jews say about second coming of Jesus?

They simply did not believe in it. They were looking for a Messiah to save the nation from the Roman oppression (Luke 1.74,75); not a Saviour such as Jesus. They thought Jesus was simply a prophet, but some believed he was a devil, so if they did not believe in his first coming, how should they believe in his second coming?

Can a catholic receive the eucharist in an Anglican church?

Roman Catholic AnswerNo. First of all, there is no "Eucharist" in an Anglican church. They, themselves do not even believe this, and they no longer have valid apostolic succession or orders so they have no priests to confect the Eucharist. Second, one would be, by receiving their Holy Communion, expressing unity with an heretical sect which does not believe in the truth as received from Jesus Christ so one would be committing a mortal sin.

The rapture of the church?

There is no "rapture" of the church, as this is not in the Bible. The rapture is a man made teaching that is based upon the words "caught up" in the book of Thessalonians. (1 Thess. 4) The belief is that the church will be raptured away to heaven before the second coming of Christ Jesus. The problem is, the verse they base this rapture theory on IS describing the physical second coming of Christ. It is AT the second coming of Christ Jesus that the church is "caught up" to meet Jesus in the air, NOT before.

What is the definition of parousia?

Mormons believe that the creation of the political state of Israel and the returning of Jews to that nation, as well as the political and religious unrest that takes place there, are in fulfillment of Biblical prophesy and a sign of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ drawing nearer.

Do Mormons believe they can have their own kingdom?

No. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe in "being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates." [Mormon Articles of Faith] They do not try to have their own kingdoms or governments and try to follow the laws of the nations and states where they live. They do believe that at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, Jesus will reign personally upon the earth and establish the Kingdom of God, of which Mormons will be a part.
