Do the temperature controls on a 2002 jetta light up when lights are on?
Yes, they do. That is, until the light bulb behind the controls burns out.
Hello, I have been trying to track this down as well, seeing as how i dont have a manual for my Jetta. I belive this light either indicates low temperature of the coolant or low level of the coolant. I hopefully will be able to find a whole list of what all these lights mean at some point in time. If i can find it i will returen and post.
Tail lights and brake lights are easy to replace on a Jetta. Open your trunk, and look on the inside on the side of the broken tail light. There is a little compartment with two knobs. Turn them and the compartment will open. Squeeze the tabs on the light module and it will come out. Unscrew the dead bulb and screw in your replacement. Replace the light module, making sure it clips into place. Then…
It is normal for a temperature light to come on in the VW Jetta when the car is started. If the light stays on, it is probably an early warning that there is something wrong with the radiator. The car may be overheating right away when started because there is no fluid in the radiator, or there is a fluid leak somewhere in the system.
On the dash board, just left of the steering column. There are three switches on a raised portion of the dash...the upper one controls the normal lights and the night vision lights, the lower left switch controls the dash lights and the lower right switch is a lock out switch that has to be held while turning the upper light switch on.

Where is the relay located that controls the tail lights and interior lights on a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage?
The relay that controls the taillights and interior lights on a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage is in the driver's side fuse box. It is to the left of the steering wheel in the dash. One thing to note about this vehicle is if a brake light burns out, the car might also lose the dash lights or interior lights. Check the brake lights before replacing a fuse that might not need replacing.
A green laser that is at least 100mW can trigger it. A little sensor on top off the light, usually a cylinder, controls it. At night, you can direct the laser at the sensor and it will turn off for 5-10 minutes depending on what type of light. Street lights can't be turned on during the day unless you have the controls to it. Good Luck Yums
