Mainly after the war and while the war was happening (WW1) Yes, women over the age of 30 were given the vote in UK in 1918. Quite why women needed to be 30 is beyond my reasoning. It still implies women are less valid than men, which is patently ridiculous. The essence of Democracy is that we are all, in some way, equal in the process of electing the people who govern us & make & change the law. In 1928 everyone in UK was on an equal standing, voting at age 21.
