Absolutely wrong...even if you're not caught. Plagiarism is a form of stealing. You are stealing possible royalties and income from the author of whatever it was you stole.

And hearken, a copyright is assumed on all images and text even if a copyright symbol is not indicated. But it is not plagiarism if you cite your source when you copy something into your own work.

At my university, if a student is caught stealing text or images from someone else and uses it in their own work, that student is expelled.

yes but what if you are too young to understand? or if you were impaired, hell what if you didnt even do it intentionally. theres only so many words out there, but i agree other than this, you are wrong for doing so.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. And to a point plagiarism really only becomes an issue when the plagiarized piece is submitted for pay or for grades, like in school. If you copy War and Peace word for word for their own use that's not plagiarism.

Since i was 4 years old i wanted to be a cop. I am only 13 now and still demand a little bit of respect as a kid for lord knows after going through what i have i desserve it. I am able to have a respectful adult conversation with you if i get some respect
