It depends on the vehicle :
In my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT I use 5W-30 year round
When I had a 1982 Volvo 244 GL I would use 10W-30 in the winter , 20W-50 in the summer , and 10W-40 in spring and fall seasons
form_title=Use Pennzoil For Your Next Oil Change form_header=Find a mechanic in your area that uses Pennzoil for your vehicle. Do you always use Pennzoil Oil in your vehicle?= () Yes () No How many miles since your last oil change?=_ What type of vehicle needs maintainence?=_
No. Do not use in your car. It is for use in some lawn mowers and aircompressor motors.
You can not use the same oil in a engine for manual for a Honda. Each car takes a different type of oil.
The oil you use in a four-wheeler is exactly the same as you use in a vehicle. If your four-wheeler is air cooled I highly recommend you use a 100% Synthetic oil in SAE 10w30 weight. If it is water cooled use either Synthetic or Conventional oil.
It is always best to use the oil recommended by your vehicle manufacture. If you are considering the difference between Synthetic oil and Conventional (pumped from the ground); if your owner's manual says to use synthetic, you need to use synthetic. But if your engine was designed around conventional, then you can upgrade to synthetic. Synthetic has advantages as being better at cleaning and protection your engine, but if you have a higher mileage vehicle, synthetic can cause leakage of the gaskets and oil seals.
You have to know what viscocity to use, check the owners manual if you have one. But with that being said, always use a synthetic oil for a vehicle with higher mileage.
no
I use what the vehicle manufacturer calls for.
Always use ELF oil...
The Purolator cross reference for a NAPA 1452 oil filter is typically the Purolator L14610 or the Purolator PL14610. These filters are designed to be compatible with the same vehicles that use the NAPA 1452. Always double-check your vehicle specifications to ensure proper fitment.
I Always use 5 qt I have the same year and make.
Use the same BRAND that you've always used, but select an oil that is thick enough that the oil pressure light stays off when the engine is warm and at an idle.
