Prayer to the Coming Saviour
Jesus, our Lord, save me from my sins.
Come, protect me from all dangers and lead me to salvation.
Come! Wisdom of our God Most High,
guiding creation with power and love:
teach me to walk in the paths of knowledge!
Come! Leader of ancient Israel,
giver of the Law of Moses on Sinai:
rescue me with Your might power!
Come! Flower of Jesse's stem,
sign of God's love for all His people:
save me without delay!
Come! Key of David,
opening the gates of God's eternal Kingdom:
free the prisoners of darkness!
Come, Emmanuel, God's presence among us, our King, our Judge:
save us, Lord our God!
Come, King of all nations,
source of Your Church's unity and faith:
save all mankind, Your own creation!
Come, Radiant Dawn, splendor of eternal light, Sun of Justice:
shine on those lost in the darkness of death!
Come, Lord Jesus, do not delay;
give new courage to Your people who trust in Your love.
By Your coming, raise us to the joy of Your Kingdom,
where you live and reign with the Father
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.
In the Christian religion he is and the only way to heaven is through a relationship with him as described in The Bible. I am a christian and I wholeheartedly believe he is the true saviour. Faith in him is the only path to salvation. He is a teacher and a prophet in other religions although. You will need to make that decision for yourself and find the answer through prayer and reading the bible.
It depends on your religious beliefs. Some have no mention of Jesus (Buddhist, Hindu, etc.) others have role for him as a prophet (Islam)/ However, for the majority of Christians, Jesus is the Savior for all mankind. Some Christians do not view Jesus as a divine having nature (Unitarians, the United Church of Canada).
Another View:
The vast majority of Christianity believes Jesus is not only a savior but the ONLY Savior for all mankind. His life, sayings, miracles, suffering, crucifixion and resurrection has established the Church of God on Earth. His disciples or imitators where known as 'The Way' and then Christians shorthly thereafter, in Antioc
I do, for he created the universe and humans, and I'm not afraid to say it nor afraid to show it
"We have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world." (1 John 4:14 NIV) That's just one of many verses that say that Jesus is the Savior.
You need to be a Christian to believe that Jesus is your saviour. It is then a matter of faith.
Christians believe that by His death, Jesus made it possible for us to have eternal life, that He died that our sins might be forgiven. Therefore, believing this, Christians acknowledge Jesus as their Saviour.
Those who believe Jesus Christ as their Saviour and who have repented for their sins and turned towards Jesus with a dedication.
believe in the trinity ( God the father, Jesus, and the Holy spirit) and that Jesus is our only saviour
because they don't believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
A:Jesus is called the Saviour because people believethere is a hell to be saved from. Whether or not there really is a a hell becomes irrelevant as long as there are people who believe there is, and believe that Jesus can save them from hell.
I don't think so, because then the Muslims might believe in Jesus as Saviour.
Believe is a personal conviction. So it is best for her to confess her belief.
Is is being able to accept Jesus christ as the lord god. your Saviour. if you believe that he died for you, you will enter the kingdom of heaven.
A:No. I am not a Christian.A:Yes. He is my Saviour. I am a Christian.
The Bible alone shows that Jesus is the Son of God and Saviour. If there is any doubt about the factual truth of the Bible, then there is doubt about Jesus as the Son of God and Saviour.
Yes Jesus is our saviour as he came to save the world of all its sin.
