Yes. You do physically; your body is still kicking.
You wouldn't age mentally though because you're unconscious, you don't know what's going on around you.
That's why when people who have been in comas for years wake up, the still act like they did when they went into the coma. It's like they've just been sleeping
Yes.

you can't move and you are in a deep sleep
Yes, I believe you do because if you didn't breathe, it wouldn't be a coma- you would just be dead. :)
Yes.
Yes. You still breathe normally while pregnant.
yes, if there is no problem with their lungs. Thier breathing is not changed by the fact that they are in a coma usually, but often they are breathing by a machine because the fact that they are in a coma is because they are hurt, but just being in a coma doesnt effect their breathing. lol actually if your in a coma your body is like a cacoon and you only stay alive because your hooked up to a machine that makes your body breathe, eat, an take dumps that's about all you can do
Age has less to do with it then the cause of the coma, how severe the injury was (if there was an injury), how long they have been in a coma, their overall health, and several other factors. Sometimes hospitals will actually induce people into a coma. If the patient has been intubated (put on a machine to assist their breathing), they will often be given medications to actually put them in a coma. This allows the breathing machine to work better because the body isn't fighting against it. When the patient begins to heal and can breathe on their own again, they will allow them to wake from the coma and remove the machines. The best thing to do is to talk to the doctor and find out WHY they are in a coma. They can estimate what the chances are in that patients induvidual case.
