Yes because then you do not have a receipt for your boss and you done have a copy of the receipt just in case they want to bring the item back for return.

It would depend on which type of company you work for. In a corporate setting, you will have to supply an itemized receipt, usually in excel, and also the actual receipt. If you buy online, you can provide the confirmation email and this will suffice. Small companies are more lenient and the receipt itself will normally be considered enough back up to reimbursed.

You do not give your state or country of residence. Regardless . . . hopefully they gave you a receipt when you turned the XBox in for reapir. You or your parent/guardian should take the receipt to the store and DEMAND its return. Regardles of whether the say you tampered with it or not, you still OWN the XBox and they have no right to whthhold it from you.

No. If I give you money, it is yours. You can do whatever you want with it. If I lend you money, I had better get a receipt. I will need paperwork. Then, I can sue you to get it back. The name of the game is paperwork.
