What are some famous cases about innocent people dying from death penalty?

Colin Ross Cambell is one of the many famous cases for an innocent execution. Colin was twenty-eight years old when he was convicted for the rape and murder of a twelve year old little schoolgirl. He was executed in 1922. He was convicted after the evidence of strands of hair which was found in the little girls' bed. After his death, when technology was improved, it turned out not to be Colin Ross Cambell's hair found on the bed of the victim. Eighty-six years after his conviction he was pardoned for the rape and murder of the twelve year old victim in this case. This mistake can never be rejustified! You can not end murder with murder or any other crime at that!
