The Oil Pressure switch if broken off will drain "pump" the oil out of the engine very quickly.
No
You need only to drain off a couple quarts of coolant to change the thermostat.
how to drain anti freeze on avalanche
Either the switch was left in the wrong position, or the thing is defective. The dome lights draw enough current to drain the battery overnight.
No you do not.
To change the transmission fluid on your Chevy Malibu 2005, first, pull off the pan, drain the fluid, and replace it.
Yes you do, do not remove the switch with freeon in the system. must drain system down. It depends on the vehicle. Many (if not most) of the "clutch cycling" switches are actually simple pressure sensors and there is a schrader valve which will hold the pressure while you change the valve. A little more research is appropriate for YOUR vehicle before you decide what to do.
You switch off the pump, drain the pressure tank, then remove old gauge and fit new one.
the high pressure switch is located on the back ,top of the compresssure and has a clip with two wires to it.to replace it you will have to drain the system.to install the switch you will need a snap ring tool .evacuate the system and recharge.the switch is around $21.00 AT AUTO ZONE.FIRST TO SEE IF IT IS BAD ,USE A PAPER CLIP OR WIRE TO JUMP THE LEAD SO U WANT WASTE MONEY..GOOD LUCK..
You need to switch off the pump, drain the pressure tank and fit a new pressure switch. They are cheap and often last only a few years. When re fitting make sure the pressure tank residual pressure is about 2 PSI LESS than the pressure switch ON setting. In most domestic wells systems the pressure switch comes ON at 30 PSI, so the tank air should be 28 or so..
drain oil, change filter,refill- or go to speedy lube
