Will they have to pull teeth for me to get braces?

It depends on how the teeth are positioned and what your orthoodontist's plans are for how he/she is going to straighten your teeth. I have braces and I didn't need to have teeth pulled. I know somebody who did have to get teeth pulled though. That is the best advice that I can give you though. I hope I answered your question.

When you get braces how do you know how many teeth get pulled out?

Each case is different. Some patients do not need any teeth removed. You can talk about this with the orthodontist before treatment begins.

Is it OK to get braces if your wisdom teeth may come in soon?

I don't know if it's OK. I have braces myself and my wisdom teeth are coming in right now. Unfortunatly, I have to get them pulled, if anything that's what would happen. You should wait until the wisdom teeth come in, and then get them pulled, because the metal bands may not fit around the wisdom teeth, and most people have more comfort when their wisdom teeth are pulled. I have braces and my wisdom teeth came through and my otho hasn't done anything to them.

How many days does it take to your teeth to straighten when you have braces on and you just got four teeth pulled out?

8 weeks injoy

How long does it take to get braces after all your teeth are pulled?

It depends on the orthodontist's opinion as to the growth of the jaw and the need for space. Sometimes pulling teeth provides more room for the teeth to come in correctly. My children had retainers that changed the shape of their palatte--wore them for a year and their teeth came in nicely. We rotated a screw on the retainer weekly. We skipped the braces after that.

Is it a problem to get braces if you have crowned teeth?

No, I have procelin crowns and I am getting braces. They just had to fix my teeth first before they put on the braces. Good luck:)

How long do you have to let teeth stabilize before removing braces?

Do you have to always have teeth out if you get braces?

Yes, all of your teeth must be fully grown in to get braces. Braces are glued to each individual tooth. Therefore, if one tooth were to fall out while the wearer had braces, the new tooth would be unaffected by the braces.

Where can one find images of braces on teeth?

Braces look like a little square metal peice on your teeth and connects them is a round metal part.

When you're getting braces do you have any permanent teeth removed?

Sometimes. My mouth was too small and I had 4 extra teeth the oral surgeon pulled out.
