Not if the motor is mechanically sound and the boost level is with in reason (6-10psi)
One definition of an engine blower is a supercharger or turbocharger
Supercharger
You call it a supercharger. It is referred to as a blower in some places. It is a mechanically driven device to increase the air flow into an engine, this will increase the engines output power.
Blower or Supercharger. The purpose of a blower is to shove more air into the engine. More air in the engine creates more horsepower.
Means the same thing, just like saying blower and supercharger.
A supercharger or blower is an air compressor that is designed to blow more air into an engine. By forcing more air into the engine, you will see an increase in horse power and torque. Here is a link that I personally think will give you a better understanding of what a supercharger is. http://www.superchargersonline.com/content.asp?ID=31
Yes, There's even some with a supercharger and twin turbos. A "supercharger" is anything the increases the airflow into an engine above atmospheric, there for a turbo and a blower are both types of "superchargers". There are many applications of both turbo's and Blowers on the same engine and any combination of multiple of both, I.e. @ turbo chargers and 2 blowers or a blower and quad turbo's etc etc.
Blower Bentleys were very fast racing cars in the 1920's and 1930's. They were fitted with a blower, or supercharger. This device drove extra fuel into the engine to make the car super-quick.
you will have to contact an aftermarket supercharger company to see if they make one for your engine.
Larger engine, Nitrous injection, Turbo, Supercharger, rebuild the engine with higher compression, modified cam... It just takes money and time. A really big hill.
There is a black Allen set screw on the passenger side of the blower facing the front of the car. You have to remove the plastic engine cover to access it. The fluid level should be at the bottom of the threads. Only use GM supercharger oil in the supercharger. Hope this helps. "G"
You can put a supercharger on a stock engine it depends on how much boost you run wether your engine can handle it or not.
