When you do stop taking the prescription, you will get your normal appetite back and if you lost any weight you will quickly replenish back to your normal level. Do not take if your not prescribed by your doctor. I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea and this prescription drug helps me to regain my normal functions and remain alert during the daytime. Without provigil I regularly fall asleep and remain tired for the duration of the day.a
