yes you do or the male will kill the babys
The mother rabbit will produce milk to feed her babies and if you watch would will be able to identify which female they are sucking on.
It depends if the cage is tightly secure or not
You should never leave a male and female rabbit together, after she is bred he will continue to pester her for sex. She could get irritated and bite him even castrating him if she gets mad enough. Each rabbit needs their own space, they are very territorial. And if he is left in the cage with her when she has the babies he could, intentionally or unintentionally, kill the babies. Also she can breed again the same day she has the babies and that is not good for her, the babies she kindles or the babies she will then be carrying.
You need to get the boy in the cage to breed and after that you put the boy in his own cage but if you keep the boy and girl together intill they have babies the boy will eat the babies.
shes pregnant
No because once the female has her baby or babies the male will kill them so the best thing to do is move the male to a different cage and do not touch the mother wile she is pregnant you could harm the babies.
No, it'll be possible for the female rabbit to become pregnant again 12 hours after giving birth to her litter. Unless you want even more rabbits a month later... bad idea.
The buck (male rabbit) should not be near a doe (female rabbit) who is kindling or newborn kits (baby rabbits). The buck will get too excited and the doe will get overwraught. As he trys to rebreed her (rabbits are capable of rebreeding as soon as she kindles) and she tries to get away and/or protect the newborns they probably will both stomp the kits flat. Even in the wild the male rabbit is not welcome in the nest until babies start to come out to nibble on grasses.(about 2 to 3 weeks). In addition, if the male is stressed or has not been fed properly it will kill the kits.
They bang to hard!
Every rabbit needs it's own cage after it reaches the age of 3 months. Daddy rabbits should never be in the cage with babies.
Because she is preparing for her babies so come out.that means the rabbit will have babies in a couple or a few days, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!:-) so give it fresh food and water and keep the cage the way it is,do not touch, clean and disturb the cage and rabbit.
Rabbits are territorial and when you put a male in a female's cage, it is her space. Therefore it's better to put the doe in the buck's cage.
