yes b/c you need to get a lisense
By law a CBT must be taken to ride a moped, and it is the only test you need to take to ride a moped on your own (this lasts for two years before you have to re take it unless you possess a full license by then), however you must use a learner plate at all times. A CBT must be taken to provisionaly ride on a motorbike before a motorbike test. You can ride a moped on a full licence without a CBT.
no you have to have a cbt test then that last you for two years and you dont have to take the test when your 17 for the 125cc i should know im 17 and got a 125 cc moped and i didnt have to take another test
yes
if you got your license before 2001 then you can ride a moped 49cc without taking a cbt test but if you got your license after 2001 your required to take a cbt! cbt is not really a test its just a few lessons on how to use a moped! takes abouts 2 hours! if you want to ride a full on motor bike with high cc then you have to get yourself a motor bike license, you have to do a theory and a practical like the UK driving test! in the practical you usually go out riding with a guy and he's behind you al the way looking at your riding and you keep in contact with wireless microphones and head phones etc hope this helps :]
If the 16 year old has:completed their Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)'L' Plates displayeda provisional moped licencevalid insuranceThey can ride a moped with a maximum design speed of up to 45kmph, provided that moped has valid MOT and the VED has been paid.
I belive you have to be 14 to get a moped license in Alabama
Yes and you need to have a provisional licence, have passed your theory test and you are required to pass Compulsory Basic Training.
If you want to ride a moped you can take your theory test when you are 16, but again you must make sure you have a valid provisional licence. If you are 16 and already have a provisional licence for an agricultural vehicle or a moped, this will give you provisional entitlement to drive a car when you are 17. The use of a helmet is optional in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Yugoslavia and Turkey when riding a 50cc moped, but is mandatory in all European countries in both built-up areas and non built-up areas - when riding a 125cc motorcycle. It is optional to wear a helmet when riding a sidecar in both built-up areas and non-built-up areas in Turkey and the United Kingdom.
If you passed a car test before February 1st 2001 you do not need to complete a CBT to ride a moped but you must complete CBT before riding a motorcycle. However if you passed a car test after February 1st 2001 you must complete CBT whether you wish to ride a moped or a motorcycle. So yes, you MUST have completed CBT no matter how long you have held your car licence if you wish to ride a motorcycle. * A moped has an engine not over 50cc with maximum design speed not exceeding 50 kilometres per hour (km/h) which is approximately 31 miles per hour ---- If you wish to ride anything over 125cc you'll need an A license. As you've held your license for over 10 years, you were obviously issued it before 2001 so you can ride a moped or scooter without a CBT.
Well if your 16 years old, there is no restriction to how big you can get a scooter. Its just that if you get a scooter or moped bigger than 50cc, you have to get an acutal motorcycle license. But considering your 16, you should have no problem.....good luck!

Unless you have passed your theory and practical test, no you cannot.
