how long would it take to change a timing chain on a vauxhall zafira 54 plate.
You will have to remove the valve cover and then the tensioner. After that take off the timing chain cover and then it'll come right out. It's about a 45 min job. I am at ureagletz@yahoo.com if you have anymore questions. Tray

take the timing chain cover off and with a wire hanger pull it from the bottom to the top sprocket so it doesn't fall.
im guessing that you are asking how do you change the timing belt cover? you have to take off the valve cover and then there are a few bolts holding on the cover.
