You don't have to take the transmission apart but you will probably have to pull the engine out of the frame and take the right hand side clutch cover housing then removing the clutch then the gears behind the clutch and split the the transmission housing. When you split the housing the transmission will be separate from the crankshaft so you will have to get down to the transmission but won't have to take it apart.
inside the transmission pan... Of which...there IS NO pan!! You have to take the trans apart to service it.
It is located inside the Transmission You will have to take the transmission apart it is in the middle of the trany. It would be cheaper to get a new trany.
From what i have read the transmission fluid filter is inside of Honda trannys. You have to take apart the thing to get at it!
buy a service manual then take it apart....
The Transmission filter is on the Inside of the trans. The only way you can change it is to take trans apart.
if its auto check the fluid, linkage, or take it to the shop and have em take it apart the tranny
You'll need a transmission manual. Available at your local auto parts store.
where? any place where you won't lose the parts.
You cannot "convert" an AWD transmission to 2WD or vice versa, you'd have to take the whole thing apart.
YES.. Honda does not make transmission with servicable filters. the only way to access the filter is to "overhaul" the transmission. Macs Transmissions (Houston, TX)281-394-4951macstransmissions@gmail.com
The center shafts in all 4x4 transmission are longer then the shafts in a 2WD trans. Does not matter what kind of transmission it is. To change the center shafts you have to take trans. all the way apart.
