Yes. You will need to get donor parts from an OBD2 explorer that is equipped with a 5.0L. PCM ,harness, cam sensor, coil pack and plug wires. Etc.. It can be done

You don't. This is an OBD2 compliant vehicle. OBD1 vehicles used the flash diagnosis. You will need an OBD2 scan tool. Many auto parts stores will scan it for you free of charge.

You need a code reader to plug into it's diag port. Any mech can do it. It's an early year so MAY be OBD1 & not OBD2.
Obd2 y8 swap into obd1 eg need help?
I have a 1993 civic ex coupe.Ive looked this up but noone has a clear answer i put the Y8 in my car.Put the OBD1 alternator on and OBD1 injectors ive converted the Dizzy to OBD1 but i have three extra plugs on my wireing harness left over and car will not crank or anything.I used the Z6 wireing harness.So all i know to do is Put a Z6 intake manifold on? any suggestions.
