There should be a Transmission cooler in the radiator, There might also be a 2nd one in front of the radiator!
The transmission cooler is built into the radiator, and the tubes on the cooler are leaking Trans. fluid into the engine coolant. Need to replace radiator.
transmission filer for a mazda 6 2006
There is a problem with the transmission and you need to get it to either honda or a mechanic.
According to http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Automobile_Repair/Honda/Odyssey/Change_engine_oil_and_filter, you need 5 quarts of oil.
I've searched the web... for 2005 Honda Odyssey, it should be changed every 30,000 miles. This can be done easily it as transmission drain plug. Also, note, that there is no serviceable transmission filter; therefore not need to change. Hope this helps.
Is the transmission cooler fins clean and free of debris. Are you towing a heavy load? If so, I recommend you install a aftermarket transmission cooler. If it is getting hot and you are not towing, you need to seek out a professional to find out why it is getting hot. Do not continue to drive this vehicle or you will be spending big bucks for a new transmission. Heat is the biggest enemy of a transmission.
If your 1500 ram hemi came with a tow package you already have a transmission cooler. I would compare with others to make sure you have the correct cooler for towing. You can always upgrade to larger coolers but may not be necessary. Some use the 1 ton cooler but that would be seems overkill to me.
Tcm (transmission) code present. You need to have the transmission computer checked for codes.Tcm (transmission) code present. You need to have the transmission computer checked for codes.
It's a warning to have your transmission checked. May need a fluid change, or worse. It happens with my '04 Odyssey after I get on the freeway, but only if I have to floor it which engages the passing gear.
You can find a transmission cooler for a 2000 Ford Windstar at most auto parts stores although they generally will need to order the part and have it shipped to your local store. In general, these coolers cost around 50 to 100 dollars.
