maybe you need to turn the lights on
A prescription is only accepted by the optometrist for a year. However if your glasses still work for you then you probably don't need glasses. If you're having trouble seeing then you should schedule an appointment.
I think the best thing to do would be to just tell them the truth. It is not something you can hide if you need to wear you glasses all the time. If you do not tell them, then you take the risk of them finding out by themselves and you would be in even more trouble.
Answer- If your eyesight gets blurry, that is a sign that you need to check in with your eye doctor and consider getting contacts or glasses. Answer- When you have diffulctly seeing what you are trying too look at, mild headaches from reading, eyes feel tired. Answer- Glasses are needed when you have constant headaches. Also see if you find yourself squinting when you read. If theres any blur to your vision near or far. Answer- The first signs for me were: A DEFINITE reduction in visibility at night (while driving - can't see the road/lines very well) A lot of trouble with computer work including glare and focus.
because you might be able to see okay and other times you need help seeing.
No atmosphere to blur the seeing. No need to wait for night, either!
Umm, if you mean you can't see things, you might need glasses. See your optician or GP. If you mean you are seeing things that you should not be seeing then.. er..SEE A DOCTOR. NOw.
Night time I wear them only until bedtime, then I take them off because I don't want to break them. It has happened before.
that sounds kinnda weird. are trying u to get in trouble?
Unless you only rarely need glasses, it would be wise to have some sort of contacts. I suggest either night contacts or one-use daily contacts.
You can, but the question is whether you need them or not. (I assume you are asking about actually needing glasses, rather than wanting to get a pair of fashionable eyeglass frames that are more for style than for vision problems.) If you are having problems seeing things that are far away, or things that are near to you; if your vision is blurry; if you have headaches when you read; or if you are not seeing objects clearly, these are signs you might need glasses. By the way, needing glasses is hereditary; there is an old myth that it is caused by "studying too much," but that's not true. Studying a lot can give you eye strain, but it won't necessarily mean you need glasses. The best way to find out is to see an eye doctor, also called an "optometrist." He or she can give you the proper tests and determine if glasses are right for you.
Stronger than what? It is more common that you need stronger glasses - or that you need glasses at all - when you get older.
There are glasses prescribed specifically for people who work on computers. The need manifests itself because the "reading" section on glasses is often too close for the computer, and the "distance" section often too far. I wear glasses with a third section between the "reading" and "distance" sections, and I call this the "computer monitor" section. I have heard this type of glasses being called "trifocals."
