No not really. Some places advertise an events planner certificate but its not a requirement, it just makes it easier cause it goes through all sorts of things from the planning end to the business end.

∙ 16y agoGetting good grades is a plus for anything you choose to do. Specifically for wedding planning, it's a good idea. You need to be smart to interpret what people want when they are having a hard time putting it into words. You also need to be smart in other ways too, like organization, time management etc.
