To become a wedding planner, all you really have to do is get your wedding planning certificate. However, if you are interested in college, you could major in business. With this you can learn how to operate and keep up your business. Also, if a couple is choosing between you and another wedding planner. They might choose you because you have a college degree. You could also major in fashion textiles. Which also looks good on a resume!! Good Luck!
