No, currently the only "online multiplayer" for Xbox is to join one of your XBox Live friends Online Game. Servers, linke in the PC version, are currently not yet implemented.

IP address-the name of a server that allows people to access it (example: 255:78:61:5) server-an online Minecraft world which enables Multilpayer, run from one person's computer whitelisted-you must be whitelisted (on a special users list) to access some servers. Some servers don't use whitelisting, although most do.
