How can you tell if a 1994 Geo Tracker is an eight or 16 valve?

16 valve engine not put in a Tracker till 1996. 1994 Tracker is 8 valve (but a Sidekick may have the 16 valve in 1994) Actually there were 16 valve Trackers before 96. I have an early 95 which is 16v version. I believe 16v engines started somewhere between 91-94. I do know that the valve covers usually state 16 valve when it is. ,the spark plugs in a 16 valve are waaayy down in the top of the engine, you need about a eight inch extention to get at them

How do you replace the PVC valve?

I am assuming you mean for a 1994 Honda Accord 4cylinder......it is the L shaped plug in the middle of the valve cover near the back of the engine. To is a rubber hose connecting the pcv valve to the intake manifold. With a set of pliars squeeze the metal retaing clip and pull the pcv valve out, then pull it out of the engine valve cover. You do not need to screw anything. The install is reverse, hope that helps.

Where is the fuel pressure testing port on a 1994 Chevy Cavalier?

On the V6 engine it's schrader(looks like a tire valve) valve on the driver's side of the engine near the fuel lines. The 4 cylinder engines need an adpator that breaks into the fuel line either near the engine(factory tool) or by the gas filter (universal)

Why does an engine valve need to be removed from the cylinder head?

An engine valve normally needs to be removed from the head for a valve job, or to replace other parts related to its operation like the spring or valve guide. This is normally done when the engine has a poor seal from the valve/valve seat or oil consumption caused by the vavle guide.
