if it is the 32 valve northstar V8, yes, the service manual states you need to pull the engine to change the oil pan and/or gasket. if you have access to a rack or a lift though, the easier thing to do is to use a brace to support the engine, and lower the subframe under the car a few inches(or, totally disconnect the subframe and let it all sit on the floor. this will give you enough clearance to replace the oil pan. it'll be a tight fit, but it will be MUCH easier than removing the whole engine assembly
need to know what bulb. The check engine bulb
We need to know what engine you have to answer this question.
how can you tell if you need a radiator in a 99 cadillac northstar engine
no does it have a drace under the engine? if it does that's all you need to take of or what you can do is take of the bolts from the motor mounts and just lift up the engine
First the spark plugs may need replaced. The second thing could be the vacuum hose has come off or is loose.
You did not say if the starter is turning the engine over or not. If so then you need to interface your computer with a computer to read the codes. That will give you a clue as to what is wrong.
Not unless it is worn out. Timing chains are designed to last the life of the engine and are normally replaced during complete engine overhaul.
of course lol!!!
need vacuum diagrams(engine)for 1978 cadillac deville
Get service manuals but even then you need special tools and its not for the faint hearted to change the timing belt on Cateras
Yes, although some of the sensors will need swapped.
