I would change it. It is only a few cents / dollars. In addition, peace of mine knowing it is not going to come apart.
Drain the Mercury Tracer radiator into a pan. Loosen the clamps at the ends of the radiator hose. Wiggle the hose to free the ends. Slide the hose off and replace it. Tighten the clamps an refill the radiator. Dispose of the old antifreeze as it is toxic to animals.
Drain the radiator in the 1999 Blazer. Loosen the hose clamps at each end of the radiator hose. Gently twist the hose and pull the ends to break free. Replace with a new hose and clamps.

To replace a lower radiator hose on a Ford Focus, use a bucket to catch any antifreeze that might leak. Loosen the clamp from both ends on the hose that needs to be replaced. Put the clamps on the new hose and reposition the hose on the radiator and the other end where it needs to go. Tighten the clamps. Refill the radiator with antifreeze.
Can they? Yes. Should they? No. They are extremely cheap to replace.

Turn off your car and let it cool down 3. drain your radiator below the level of te hose you are replacing 4. remove hose clamps and take off old radiator hose 5. install new radiator hose and tighten hose clamps 6. Fill radiator with antifreeze / water mixture (you can buy the premixed kind if you dont want to mix it yourself) 7. replace radiator cap 8. turn on car and check for leaks
They just clamp on. If you can change a radiator hose, you can do it. Just get the hose from a dealer & use the same clamps.
The stock ones are junk,they have two wires,instead of the American style flat band,that really dig into the hose. Just replace them with the regular hose clamps from the auto store.
Do this on a cold engine. Remove the radiator cap. Then remove the clamps holding the upper radiator hose in place as it attaches to the radiator and the thermostat housing. Next remove the clamps that hold the lower radiator hose and then remove the hose itself. The clamps are easily removed with a screwdriver. Replace the old hoses with new ones and fasten them in place with preferably new clamps. The coolant will have drained out and has to be replaced after fitting the new hoses. Check for air in the cooling system.
Before replacing the radiator hose on a 1996 Honda Civic drain the coolant system. Once drained remove any clamps holding the hose in place and pull the unit off. Replace with new hoses.
