Eluding predators, feeding upon edibles, mating, releasing coriander-like odors, and sheltering in fall and winter are the habits of a stink bug. The insect in question (Hemipteraorder of Pentatomidae family) has to worry about predatory birds, lizards, parasitoid wasps, spiders, and wheel bugs. Stink bugs may live as long as several months to a year if they can find safe, warm shelters during the fall and winter months.
Could be a number of reasons but most common ocur's during the cold winter months. the cold causes the skin around the nail to crack and peel.
well during the winter season u can get the odd Nurse shark far out in the deep water but they are harmless and during summer they arent around the waters at all cos it gets to hot they go very far out to see to get into cold water so there is no worry about sharks in ibiza
Many reptiles slow down their metabolism during the winter months. If your turtle is otherwise healthy, then it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Some of my own reptiles absolutely refuse to eat from around November to January - while some of the same species eat anything I offer them !If it's a 'regular' occurence, don't worry - if it's a 'one off' or sudden change to its normal behaviour, a trip to your vet should set your mind at ease.So long as the turtle continues to drink, it should be okay.
Yes, there are currently people who do have underfloor heating in their homes. Many people don't want to worry about walking on the cold bathroom and kitchen tile in the winter months and pay extra for underfloor heating for this reason.
Dont worry it is normal That is a feature built in to the unit that keeps the ac pump lubricated during the winter months, it should only come on while in defrost mode. I would not recommend disconnecting the air cond pump as it may not work at all when the warmer weather comes back.
Yes,they hibernate during the winter and Yes,turtles do hybernate and theydon't come out until the spring time.if your turtle is not eating dont worry because they don't eat during the winter.they love moss and wood chips.
Wait 2-3 months before submerging it in water. It isnt the chlorine that you should worry about. Water is FILTHY an all of those germs with a new piercing greatly increases the risk of infection
No just make sure that if you live in a snow area that the outside unit is clean and clear of any snow build up..........
Water coming out of the mouth during an enema is extremely rare. It requires complete opening of the ileocecal valve and a huge amount of water. I wouldn't worry about this.
This is possible. But mainly not till 6 to 12 months of age will you have to start to worry much
