During the anaphase phase of meiosis, there can be non-dysjunction. This is when the spindle fibres do not effectively pull apart the chromosomes, leading to the cells having unequal numbers of chromosomes (ie. 3 and 1 rather than 2 and 2).
An example of this is Trisomy 21, which is when there is non-disjunction of the 21st chromosome in either Anaphase I or Anaphase II. This causes Down's syndrome.
i am doing homework in my Science teachers class and could not find the answer on this website so i did further research and found out that chromosomes are what is made during the process of MEIOSIS.
Because the vagina tissue is thin, it isn't recommended to put just any ol lotion in there.. mostly because it can cause irritation and swelling but other problems could arise depending on the kind of lotion you are talking about... you will likely change the pH balance that could cause a yeast infection, but as lotions not indicated for internal or vaginal use aren't tested in the vagina, there is no telling what kind of problems could arise. Lotion indicated for vaginal use, like KY, are mild and will do what it is suppose to, but not much else.
If nondisjunction occurs during meiosis the result could be a wide range of mutations. Most likely it would result in mosaicism meaning there will be a mixture of affected cells and non affected cells.
Meiosis could not be a type of cell division that produces new skin cells because meiosis is a cell division necessary for sexual reproduction only.
meiosis occurs in organisms so that they can reproduce sexually, its a process of cell division during which the nucleus divides into four nuclei, each of which contains half the usual number of chromosomes. and it occurs in both males and females
they could be put on trail as well

No, tips of homologous chromosomes cross over in Meiosis I. There are no homologous chromosomes by Meiosis I.
