Because they discredit so-called "useless" questions (i.e. What is a snow poff, which I found very useful) and they are total jerks.

Because the prime consideration of WikiAnswers.com is to maximise income. Other factors are secondary at best.The site does remain a useful and informative place for general answers to often asked questions.
