If you have your period: Most definitely A maxi pad should do the trick. Leaving a tampon in for 8+ hours is dangerous; TSS!
If you dont have your period: Depends. If you period id due then you should wear some sort of protection. If you've never had your period ; probably nothing. If you are worried than try a panty liner.

There are wonderful night pads called Always and I use them when i go to bed. I also use one with day and night half/half. If you are new to getting your period and don't have alot A LOT of blood leaking out then use an extra long regular pad. I highly recommend wearing an extra long one because If you don't, There will be blood stains on your underwear close to your ''Behind'' area.

∙ 12y agoYes; but...only wear thicker, cotton underwear. You can buy pads for nighttime at all conveniance stores. They are much larger, thicker, and they cover more back than front
