It's possible that you still have air in the cooling system..let engine cool down completely and see if the coolant gets symphned back to the coolant recovery bottle.
If so re-fill bottle and open coolant air-bleed valve on top of thermostat start engine
top off bottle...
If you live in the United States, your Intrepid will not have running lights. If your car is from Canada however, it will. Either way, the Daytime Running Light module is in the relay box under the hood, on the right hand side
The heat is not working because you are very low on coolant, probably because of the leak. Seems to me that it should leak worse when it is running, so I am going to assume you are talking about the coolant overflowing the reservoir, in which case goes back to you being low on coolant and the engine boiling the coolant.
NO YOU CANNOT DONT TRY IT!!!!If you do,the intrepid will run great for about um....an hour, then it will fall apart.its like putting reg. gas in a weedeater, good running until it burns out the engine.
you have to remove the drl module that located in the fuse box...
It is on your left side underneath the air filter (the black box with a thick pipe running from it).
I'm thinking the coolant level in the reservoir is to high to begin with. The cooling system has to work harder when the ac is running. The coolant expands as it heats up. If the coolant level was high to start with it will push out the excess.
My 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE has had a few annoying issues over the years, but surprisingly I've beaten the odds and it's still running pretty well at 130,000 miles
If you have a 3.5L most likely the timing belt broke..need more information....
Possibly a leak in the coolant reservoir bottle.
Consider boiling them or running them through your dishwasher.
time to get a watch! :)
Daphne was running from Apollo, and she was running out of breath. She prayed to her father and he changed her into a laurel tree. Thus, why we see Apollo with a laurel crown.
