On your Diamond you have to have the national dex, but in your GBA game you don't.
you cant trade just migrate you can migrate from any gba Pokemon game you insert the game in the gameboy slot and go to the menu not the start menu and it will say migrate from diamond you have to go to pal park you have to have the national pokedex
First to get the national pokedex then u can put the gameboy game into slot 2 on the DS then start your game Pearl or diamond then on the main menu you will see the option migrate.
You can't catch Charmander in Pokémon Diamond, you need to migrate it from a Gameboy Advanced game or you can trade with someone who migrated.
