Not from the factory , just the one key works for the door and ignition
Yes, originally the door and ignition keys are the same. but if you have to replace your ignition / steering column, you will have a different (re-keyed) key for the door and for the ignition.
one with the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition
So you don't lock the keys in the car.
I have lockedmy keys in the ignition and doors are locked how do i open it
Assuming you are sitting in the car with the key in the ignition you just push the door lock button on the drivers door, all the doors should then lock.
no there is a different key 4 that and the key is also used for the doors as well
I have 1 key for my 98 expedition. Remote will unlock all doors & back door hatch. press once to unlock dr door an twice to open all doors an back hatch door
Disconnected linkages, probably from trying to unlock with a slimjim
most likely is a faulty chime switch,or a faulty ignition switch
Doors. Portunes is the god of keys.
Well, I don't see that it would help it any! There are 2 keys for a reason! Why would you want to insert the door key in the ignition? It surely won't start the vehicle! Unless the ignition is already screwed up and can start with anything! The tumblers in the the locks for the ignition and doors are different! It would be like putting your house key in the car! Won't work!
