I think you mean a "reel grinder". It is a machine used to sharpen the reels of a mower
The formulation for the tape is the same. Reel to reel tape may actually have 8 tracks on it, although it usually has 4. There are many different magnetic coating formulations for magnetic tape, so it is important to use the type designated for your machine. Some more advanced reel players can change their bias and equalization to accommodate different tape types.
I have about 40 brandnew, brand name, sealed reel to reel tapes for $ 5.00 each plus shipping. Thanks. If interested please contact luzchurch@hotmail.com

Ideally, you take one-on-one lessons with a voice coach. Acting lessons are a big plus, too. Then, once you have learned everything from mic technique to proper diction to script interpretation and more, you record a demo reel. Your demo is your calling card, and without one, you will not get work. It has got to be as perfect as possible! You can then set up a home studio - not a cheap PC mic, but quality equipment and software! - and set up a website to advertise your services. Alternatively, you can send your demo reel to studios or get an agent to find work for you.
I suggest you contact the company you want to audition for; they will be much better informed about this than the volunteers who answer questions on answers.com.
