∙ 13y agoAdobe AIR itself does not contain viruses. It is an application plug-in made by Adobe Systems Incorporated that enables desktop applications published to Adobe AIR to be installed and run. As with all applications, it is possible for a person to publish a program with malicious coding. However, the risk of an AIR application being a virus is significantly less than that of a typical native operating system application that does not utilize Adobe AIR. If you don't download or install an Adobe AIR application that is not secure, you should not get a virus from Adobe AIR.
