He believes (and in fairness, so did his predecessor, President Bush) that children who were brought here without their knowledge as babies and have only known the USA all their life should not be punished with deportation; rather, Mr. Obama believes there should be a path to citizenship for these "dreamers," which would involve graduating from college or serving in the military.
