This depends entirely on your personal Blue Cross/Blue Shield health plan. I suggest reading the plan on paper first and seeing if you can find the answer there, before asking the insurer.
I have my meds covered for maintaining a chronic pain problem at a level which allows me to be somewhat active. I don't know if they'll cover stuff that only includes methadone or soboxen. You should find out from your doctor and BC/BS.
