They probably can but don't. They use piercing guns which are HORRIBLE especially for cartilage piercings. It can shatter your cartilage because of the pressure. Not to mention how disgusting they are. The only way to clean them is to wipe them down which means that the insides are filled with sweat, blood, skin, dirt and anything else that happens to get in there. You're more likely to get infections from guns and places that use guns are known fro having low quality jewelery that breaksdown in your ears.Just do some research on your own and you'll see why you should never ever get anything pierced with a gun.
No, Clarie's don't do cartilage piercings - they use piercing guns, which are not used by piercers as they are dangerous and filthy so put customers at risk, these guns are only allowed to be used on the ear lobe (but hopefully soon they will be banned outright). If you want a piercing then go to a professional at a piercing studio.
No...and don't ever let someone pierce your ears with a gun either...it traps the tissue inside the ear after just being pushed aside rather then having a clean hole

A helix piercing is a type of cartilage piercing but its the specific name for when you get the top of your cartilage pierced. I'll try to attach a picture of what a helix piercing tends to look like. A cartilage piercing is more of a general term that could refer to any of the many cartilaginous areas of your ear being pierced.
No cartilage piercing will not migrate because the cartilage is holding the piercing in place. However the piercing can still be torn out with enough force leaving a real nasty mess to deal with.
it is infected
A little bleeding is to be expected with cartilage piercings, the incision in the cartilage needs to be larger than the jewellery gauge going into the piercing, this is to allow the skin to heal between the jewellery and the cartilage. Excessive bleeding is an indication your piercer didn't candle the cartilage before doing the piercing to see where the veins are located on both sides of the cartilage.
