"I’ve probably lost a good maybe 10, 11 pounds,” he told Us Weekly after his season 29 week six performance. The 45-year-old rapper has totally switched up his fitness routine while competing in the ballroom.
He's replaced his usual gym sesh with home workouts. "It was a little different when I was in St. Louis because the gyms are open in St. Louis, so I get a chance to go to the gym," Nelly explained. "I don’t really get a chance to go to the gym here [in Los Angeles], so I’m doing a lot of home sit-ups and push-ups, things like that."
Tossing his pro partner Daniella Karagach during their rehearsals is quite the workout, too. “You’re twisting and you’re turning and you’re hurting in new places that you never thought but it’s cool,” Nelly added. “It’s a lot of cardio!”
After six weeks of dancing on season 29, Chrishell is discovering leg muscles she's never seen before. "I’m just saying, I was shaving the other day and I was like, ‘What is this strand on the back of my leg?’ I’m excited," she told US Weekly. "As much as I want to tell you about my journey…the back of my legs, I’m like, ‘What is happening?'"
She's a former high school athlete and ran track, but she's never had this kind of definition before. She gives all the credit to rigorous dance rehearsals. "As soon as I get kicked off the show, it’s probably going to go away."
