Absolutely yes! It's the most amazing breakthrough in recent times regarding the self-development field. With EFT you can improve your health, both physical and mental, you can erase negative feelings from the past and in general live a better life. There's science behind EFT but most people don't realize that. There's a lot of resistance towards EFT from traditional medicine because it's not convenient to them, imagine all the billions of dollars they would lose if people become proficient at using EFT instead of buying drugs to mask the pain instead of resolving it with EFT. There are several resources you can get online, Please see the link below. I usually receive great content to understand better what EFT really is. That's one site but there are a lot more, just be careful with the so called "experts" that are not even EFT Certified Practitioners because there are a lot of people that don't really know what they're talking about and create a lot of misconceptions in the layperson. I hope this helps.

I agree with the person above me. EFT has worked wonders for me and thousands of people around the world, but about a year after I first starting doing it, I found a newer technique that is much faster and gets right to the root of the problem. It is called The Emotion Code, and I believe it is superior to EFT, because it takes a lot of the guess work out of the healing process, so that you do not need a professional to help you. I personally used this technique to completely heal myself of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) within a matter of 3 months.

EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a popular form of energy psychology that some people find helpful in managing emotions, reducing stress, and addressing certain psychological issues. While research on EFT is mixed, many individuals report positive experiences with the technique. It may be worth exploring if you are curious and open to trying alternative approaches to emotional well-being.

Can a Catholic use EFT Emotional Freedom Technique?

Roman Catholic AnswerTo the best of my knowledge the Church has not come out with a definitive rule on EFT which does not mean that it approves of this nonsense (please see the article on Wikipedia below). The Church is here to bring God to people and people to God, to an extent the goals of EFT ran exactly counter to Our Blessed Lord's teaching to take up our cross daily and follow Him.

Is thought field therapy the same as emotional freedom technique?

Short answer: no. Long answer: Thought Field Therapy (TFT) was developed by Roger Callaghan, a psychologist, from his work in psychology and his study of Chinese Medicine. It was long, complicated and involved. One of Roger's students, Gary Craig, discovered that far from needing to go through the entire TFT procedure every time, one could in fact shorten the process by tapping on particular points on the face, upper body and hands - his shortened "algorithm" worked just as well as the longer, more involved method used by Roger Callaghan, sometimes even better. Gary generously promoted his method freely, calling it EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques. Since then, EFT has spread all over the world, with applications in business, PTSD, phobias, weight loss, personal development and coaching, to name but a few.

Where can I get help for porn addiction?

There are two other methods claiming successes in treating pornography addiction are Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Both treatments involve accessing the porn-seeking desire and then interrupting the mental and emotional pattern, sort of like dropping a computer while the hard drive is running.

How do you get rid of the fear of playing full screen games on the computer?

One way may be exposure therapy. You take small steps toward what you fear. You push your limits some and before the fear is unbearable, you stop and try again later. Then there are therapies designed for stress and phobias such as EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization Retraining) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). EFT includes some of the EMDR protocol and also includes tapping on various parts of the body (face, torso, hands). A good tutorial for learning EFT is on Heal PTSD.
