However work is currently underway to make use of various plants which can be used to create other hydrocarbons such as ethanol and break these down to basic molecules then through a process known as reforming it is possible to make these simple hydrocarbons become more complex ones such as the components of kerosene. So in the future Kerosene along with all other hydrocarbons could become renewable and become a source of burnable energy as new chemical techniques are formulated.
