According to whom? I am quite sure that different religions have different opinions about this. And it's hard to ask God directly. - Please note that many religions believe in supernatural events - usually called "miracles" - being caused by holy people, so the answer can definitely not be "yes" in all cases.

if there was a god, he wouldn't have given you latent powers which you cannot use. What we consider supernatural powers for higher beings is like watching a fat kid making a lout and wet fart...nothing that special...The imagination of ALL religious cult is dead and they believe in a concept that a baby can understand and comprehend straight up without repetition. heaven hell - believe in my religion you go here - don't believe you go there.... the most untalented book writer or movie producer can think of a more complex and interesting scheme then that, but those fanatics ascribe such a childish concept to god....but then again what is the god of the 3 Abrahamic religions? they say he created earth...that's it...not the planets around earth, not the solar system not the galaxy and certainly not the universe and other universe and the multiverse etc etc... The Bible mentions the stars but it refers to them as something smaller then earth and just to light up the dark nights...really? Supernatural is not forbidden by anyone...it's your duty to reach your highest potential and you will be rewarded for that no doubt. But if you follow the slave cults(Christianity, Islam, Judaism) you will be a slave in this life and after death until you understand and break out of this mentality death trap.
