Well...if you like paying nearly $300 per year and receiving zero newsletters in the mail or have zero access to any back issues in an online archive, then you're not getting ripped off. If you're trying to cancel 4 subscriptions and they keep charging your credit card after you cancel them, then you might be getting ripped off. I have 4 subscriptions that charged me $295 each. One year I got charged for 3 more subscriptions than I ordered. Apparently, they liked the extra $885.00 because although they said they were going to take care of the issue in 48 business hours they still have not issued me a refund.
That would be a con, short for a confidence scheme. People get your trust, then rip you off.
eBay itself does not rip you off - it's the users who are selling you the item. Sometimes there are unfaithful and untruthful sellers on eBay, and they might rip you off. However, 99% of the time eBay sellers are not a rip off.
